Soccer Recap: Magnolia West Takes a Loss

Magnolia West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Tomball Memorial Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 96th).

Magnolia West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Tomball Memorial, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1-3.

Magnolia West will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Klein Cain at 7:00 p.m. As for Tomball Memorial, they will venture away from home to square off against Klein at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tomball Memorial's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Klein's offense will have their work cut out for them.
