Shattuck came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Fletcher Wildcats as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Shattuck's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fletcher, their loss dropped their record down to 21-13.

Looking ahead, Shattuck will take on Red Oak on Thursday. Fletcher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
