Volleyball Recap: Somerset Beats Bishop Mccort for Their Fourth Straight Win

Somerset had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bishop McCort on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Crushers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

While Somerset won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

Reagan Holmes paced Somerset's offense, picking up 12 kills. Holmes got some help from Elly Fletcher and her 28 assists. Thressa Ledney and Eve Housley kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
