Clover came tearing into Friday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rock Hill Bearcats by a score of 52-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-44 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samara Lucas, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Akayla Richards was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Clover smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Rock Hill still got an impressive performance from Chloe Hudson, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. Hudson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emine Hollis, who put up five points and 11 boards.

Clover pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Rock Hill, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Clover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-34 victory against Fort Mill on the 28th. Rock Hill has also already played their next matchup, a 70-31 win against Indian Land on the 28th.
