Volleyball Recap: Legacy Charter Triumphs

Legacy Charter had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders.

Legacy Charter found their leader in sophomore Presley Johnson, who had 14 digs and five aces.

Legacy Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Legacy Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Riverbend Academy on the 15th. As for First Baptist Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Burns Sci-Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
