Baseball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Windsor faced off against Valley Park on Thursday. The Owls came up short against the Hawks, falling 16-1. The Owls just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Keegan Murphy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Valley Park, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Windsor will challenge St. Charles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Park, they will square off against Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
