Baseball Game Preview: Burns Bulldogs vs. East Gaston Warriors

For the second straight game, Burns will face off against East Gaston. The Bulldogs will square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burns is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Burns' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over East Gaston. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

For East Gaston's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Crouch, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Burns pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for East Gaston, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
