Recap: LaGrange Academy vs. Flint River Academy Wildcats
Sadly, LaGrange Academy are still looking for their first win of the season after 13 contests. Their tough 67-43 defeat to Flint River Academy on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. That's two games in a row now that LaGrange Academy has lost by exactly 24 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Flint River Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bode Chaney, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chaney has scored all season. Cale Cartwright was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
LaGrange Academy dropped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Flint River Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Oak Mountain Academy the next time they take the court. Flint River Academy will host Oak Mountain Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while LaGrange Academy will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
