Softball Recap: Sehome Comes Up Short

If Sehome was feeling good fresh off their 25-4 takedown of Bellingham on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mariners lost 22-1 to the Oak Harbor Wildcats on Thursday. The matchup marked the Mariners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sehome has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Oak Harbor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sehome will take on rival Lakewood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Oak Harbor is set to face off against their familiar foe Ferndale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
