Lockwood extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 4-0. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

Asa Lasater paced Lockwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Lasater got some help from Gracyn Clawson and her 12 assists. Clawson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Peyton Lasater, racking up four apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jefferson Independent Day fell to 1-1-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Jefferson Independent Day still got an impressive performance from Soha Shaikh, who had 12 digs.

Lockwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Southwest on the 6th. As for Jefferson Independent Day, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Golden City on the 6th.
