Soccer Recap: University Prep Find Success

University Prep won the last time they faced Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The University Prep Jaguars walked away with a 3-1 victory over Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy.

University Prep hit Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Manuel Escoto, Daniel Yi, and Adan Sanchez.

The win got University Prep back to even at 4-4-1. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season.

University Prep will be taking part in a tournament against Damien at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverside Prep at 3:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
