Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Creek Wolves vs. Cheatham County Central Cubs

The Liberty Creek Wolves will face off against the Cheatham County Central Cubs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Liberty Creek has six straight victories, Cheatham County Central has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Liberty Creek strolled past White House-Heritage with points to spare, taking the game 56-38.

Meanwhile, Cheatham County Central didn't have quite enough to beat East Hickman County on Friday and fell 59-57.

Liberty Creek pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Cheatham County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Liberty Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Cheatham County Central when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-36 victory.
