Volleyball Recap: East View Takes a Loss

East View lost against Georgetown back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Leading Georgetown to victory were Jordan Pitkethley and Macey Gates. Pitkethley had five digs and four aces, while Gates had.

East View's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Georgetown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. East View is set to challenge their familiar foe Pflugerville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Georgetown will face off against rival Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
