Volleyball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yale Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Armada's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Yale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

Armada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Imlay City on the 9th. As for Yale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Almont on the 9th.
