Basketball Recap: Yoakum Takes a Loss

Yoakum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The game between them and the Industrial Cobras didn't end well, with the Yoakum Bulldogs falling 46-32. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Yoakum's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Industrial, they pushed their record up to 17-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yoakum will welcome Edna at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Industrial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hallettsville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
