Football Recap: North Plainfield Takes a Loss

North Plainfield lost against South Plainfield back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Canucks lost 27-7 to the Tigers.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Christian Brown and Jaydon Jones. Brown rushed for 110 yards on only 14 carries while Jones rushed for 63 yards on only eight carries.

North Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Plainfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, North Plainfield will challenge Governor Livingston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Plainfield, they will face off against Cranford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
