Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Cleveland ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Cleveland's record now sits at 5-13. As for Granada Hills Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Cleveland will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Granada Hills Charter, they will host El Camino Real at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
