Carver entered their tilt with Walkertown on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Wolfpack 9-0. Joel Sonntag was a massive factor in the win as he booted in six goals all by himself.

Carver's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Walkertown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7-1.

Coming up, Carver will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. Carver will be up against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.13 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
