Basketball Recap: Foard Tigers vs. North Iredell Raiders
Foard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Iredell Raiders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), the Tigers still had to take the loss.
Malachi Mcknight and Holden Caldwell certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Mcknight went 8 of 18 on his way to 21 points, while Caldwell posted 16 points. Joey Marra was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.
