Basketball Recap: Howardsville Christian Falls to Decatur in First Game of Season

Howardsville Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 39-31 to the Decatur Raiders on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.

Decatur moved to 1-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Howardsville Christian will face off against New Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Decatur, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Bangor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
