Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John). They never let the Calvary Christian Spartans get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what St. John's needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

St. John's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8-2. As for Calvary Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, St. John's will head out to square off against Fort Jennings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Calvary Christian, they will be playing at home against Spencerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
