Pius XI Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Pewaukee, who was ranked first at the time (Pius XI Catholic was ranked 18th). Pius XI Catholic came up short against Pewaukee on Friday, falling 58-32. The Popes have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Cudahy had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of New Berlin Eisenhower. The Packers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pius XI Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Cudahy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1.

Pius XI Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cudahy when the teams last played back in December of 2018, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
