Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo lost against Teague back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bison lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Buffalo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Alexia Callaway paced Buffalo's offense, picking up nine kills. Callaway got some help from Jolie Mcchesney and her 23 assists. Piper Payne and Abigail Favors kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Teague, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Buffalo is set to face off against their familiar foe Westwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Teague will challenge rival Mexia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
