Basketball Recap: Servite Piles Up the Points Against Western

While Servite didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the Western Pioneers to the tune of 68-39 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Friars who have now won three matches in a row.

Servite's record now sits at 7-2. As for Western, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Servite will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Verbum Dei Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Western, they will head out to take on Valencia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valencia has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 220 points over their last three contests.
