After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Montrose, Durango was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grand Junction Central Warriors. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Durango was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.

Hadyn Neiman paced Durango's offense, picking up 15 kills. Neiman got some help from Indie Shows and her 24 assists. Neiman and Shows didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Durango's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Grand Junction Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Coincidentally, Durango and Grand Junction Central will both be playing Palisade the next time they take the court. The Demons will host the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
