Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Guilford Rams vs. NCSSM: Durham Unicorns

The Northeast Guilford Rams will face off against the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Northeast Guilford is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Atkins, posting a 90-35 victory. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, NCSSM: Durham waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 85-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Unicorns have posted since November 15, 2024.

Northeast Guilford has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for NCSSM: Durham, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
