Volleyball Recap: The King's Academy Beats North Cobb Christian for Their Fourth Straight Victory

The King's Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the North Cobb Christian Eagles by a score of 2-0.

While The King's Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Rebekah Rickerson paced The King's Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Rickerson got some help from Cara Richard and her 16 assists. Katherine Lubben controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for North Cobb Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The King's Academy will challenge Georgia-Cumberland Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Cobb Christian, they will square off against Whitefield Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
