Baseball Game Preview: Coquille Red Devils vs. Glendale Pirates

The Coquille Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Glendale Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Coquille fell victim to Cottage Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Lions.

Lowell hit Glendale with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Coquille, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coquille suffered a grim 13-7 defeat to Glendale in their previous meeting back in March of 2019. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
