Basketball Game Preview: Clarke County Eagles vs. Strasburg Rams

The Clarke County Eagles will square off against the Strasburg Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Clarke County challenged Central Woodstock on Friday. Clarke County lost 72-48 to Central Woodstock. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Falcons are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Strasburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down Rappahannock County 62-47 on Saturday.

The win got Strasburg back to even at 6-6. As for Clarke County, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Clarke County skirted past Strasburg 45-43 in their previous meeting on January 4th. Will Clarke County repeat their success, or does Strasburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
