Basketball Recap: Rocky River Sets Scoring Season-High Against Hopewell + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rocky River). They came out on top against the Hopewell Titans by a score of 74-67 on Monday. For the Ravens, this counts as revenge for the 70-53 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Rocky River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Petty led the charge by putting up 19 points. Petty continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Myles Linton was another key player, scoring 15 points and six rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Rocky River and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Hopewell, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky River will host Carolina International at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopewell, they will welcome Central Cabarrus at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
