On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Turpin Cardinals beat Balko/Forgan 41-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Balko/Forgan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tenley Mulbery, who posted eight points. Mulbery also posted a block, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brya Appelhans, who scored nine points and seven rebounds.

Turpin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Balko/Forgan, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 13-4 record.
