Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Camp Wildcats vs. Red Bird Cardinals

Lynn Camp is 10-0 against Red Bird since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lynn Camp Wildcats face off against the Red Bird Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Lynn Camp and ten for Red Bird dating back to last season.

Lynn Camp saw some tournament action on Monday. They were outmatched by Model and fell 75-27.

Meanwhile, Red Bird took a blow against Pineville on Thursday, falling 78-35. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked 110th).

Red Bird's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lynn Camp, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Lynn Camp was able to grind out a solid win over Red Bird in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 56-45. Does Lynn Camp have another victory up their sleeve, or will Red Bird turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
