Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Logan Landolt made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

While Centennial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
