Volleyball Recap: Haralson County Comes Up Short at Home Against Temple

Haralson County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Temple Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Haralson County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-17, 15-12.

The victory got Temple back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haralson County will face off against Chattooga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Temple, they will head out to square off against North Paulding at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
