Volleyball Recap: Spry Community Links Takes a Loss

Spry Community Links was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kelvyn Park Panthers. Spry Community Links was not able to make up for their loss to Kelvyn Park from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Spry Community Links sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-14.

Spry Community Links' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kelvyn Park, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spry Community Links will take on Manley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kelvyn Park, they will challenge Raby at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
