Football Game Preview: Lorenzo Hornets vs. Meadow Broncos

The Lorenzo Hornets will square off against the Meadow Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lorenzo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Meadow likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Lorenzo came up short against Loop and fell 67-56. The Hornets have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Meadow strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Wilson a 14-0 shutout. The 14-point effort marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meadow's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lorenzo, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
