Basketball Recap: Hondo Valley Eagles vs. Alamo Navajo Cougars
Hondo Valley lost against Alamo Navajo two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hondo Valley Eagles were outmatched by the Alamo Navajo Cougars and fell 79-31. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Zephaniah Guerro was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards for Alamo Navajo. Guerro is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 30 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Cobre Mexicano, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points and three steals.
