Baseball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waukegan on Friday, Northridge came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Latin Romans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to the Romans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Latin, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Northridge will welcome Yorkville Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Latin, they will head out on the road to face off against Francis W. Parker at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
