Gunnison came out on top against Roaring Fork on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Cowboys blew past the Rams 12-4. Considering the Cowboys have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Gunnison's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7. As for Roaring Fork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gunnison beat the Rams by a score of 12-6 later that day.
