Football Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman Comes Up Short

Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman lost against Salt Fork back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffaloes had to suffer through a 48-20 loss at the hands of the Storm.

Several Buffaloes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Runyan, who picked up 110 receiving yards and two scores. Runyan was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 51 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Heck, who threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Salt Fork, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman will be playing in front of their home fans against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Buffaloes' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Salt Fork, they are taking a road trip to take on Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
