Football Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman Comes Up Short

Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman lost against Salt Fork back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffaloes had to suffer through a 48-20 loss at the hands of the Storm.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was William Runyan, who picked up 110 receiving yards and two scores. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 51 yards. Another player making a difference was Landon Heck, who threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Salt Fork, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman will take on Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Buffaloes' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Salt Fork, they will challenge Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
