Softball Recap: Southeast Halifax Takes a Loss

Southeast Halifax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Weldon Chargers, falling 17-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-1 on Thursday.

Southeast Halifax's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Weldon, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast Halifax will challenge rival North Edgecombe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Weldon is set to take on their familiar foe Wilson Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
