Jackson and Hillsboro are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Ironman/Ironladies will head out to challenge the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Jackson came up short against Eastern and fell 3-1. While the Ironman/Ironladies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-21 in the first set.

Jackson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro came into Thursday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Washington with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

Hillsboro walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-16.

Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Jackson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Jackson took their victory against Hillsboro in their previous meeting on September 11th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ironman/Ironladies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
