McCallum extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Aaniya Thorton. Everything went the Knights' way against the Eastside Early College Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Thorton, who had 12 digs and eight aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-10.

McCallum's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Eastside Early College, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

McCallum has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Navarro on the 9th. Eastside Early College has also already played their next match (against Northeast Early College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
