Softball Game Preview: Abington Galloping Ghosts vs. Upper Dublin Cardinals

The Abington Galloping Ghosts will head out to challenge the Upper Dublin Cardinals at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Abington has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 25.

On Tuesday, Abington didn't have quite enough to beat Hatboro-Horsham and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Upper Dublin can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let Wissahickon get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Upper Dublin, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 9-4.

Abington might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Upper Dublin in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Galloping Ghosts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
