Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland came into this matchup off a tough six-run defeat on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Clockers have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Michael Schreiber was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Bratica, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
