Softball Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the Hillsboro Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 last Friday.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hillsboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Whitney will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tolar at 4:00 p.m. on February 27th. As for Hillsboro, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 loss against Moody on the 17th.
