Basketball Recap: Treyson Whitman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Enterprise over South Sevier

Enterprise lost against South Sevier back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Enterprise Wolves fell 57-47 to the South Sevier Rams. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Enterprise's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Treyson Whitman, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Colten Seegmiller was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

South Sevier's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stockton Roberts led the charge by posting 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackson Bastian, who scored seven points and three steals.

Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for South Sevier, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Enterprise didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-56 defeat against Kanab on the 31st. As for South Sevier, they have also already played their next matchup, a 71-47 victory against Beaver on the 5th.
