You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Stockbridge on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Union Grove Wolverines out of the water with a 60-28 final score. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Joshua Scott was his usual excellent self, throwing for 345 yards and seven touchdowns, while also rushing for 82 yards and one TD on only six carries. Those 345 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Mason Freeman was in the mix too, providing Stockbridge with two scores.

Stockbridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Jayden Smith was especially locked on to Union Grove's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Wolverines' side was Cortez Higgins, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

The victory made it two in a row for Stockbridge and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Union Grove, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Stockbridge and Union Grove will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Union Grove, their break will end when they face Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
