Softball Recap: Saint Viator Lions vs. Nazareth Academy Roadrunners
Saint Viator made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Nazareth Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions blew past the Roadrunners 9-2 on Saturday. Nine seems to be a good number for the Lions as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Carley Heiden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Mia Lund was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Moreno, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one triple.
